Braxton and I went on a little field trip to Capitol Reef on Tuesday. At first I didn't want to go but I am glad I did. In this picture Braxton had answered a question right and the prize was that he got to use the shovel and gloves. The guy had the kids with the shovels help irrigate the peach land and Braxton loved it!

We got to take a tour of the Fruita school house. Braxton had taken the camera away from me so this is the only picture he took. It was really cute in the classroom. The kids acted out how it would have been back in 1937. Braxton's part was a "smart alec" remark, so he and one other boy had to go to the front of the classroom and put their noses on the blackboard and wear Dunce hats. I wish I would have got a picture but unfortunately Brax had the camera in his pocket.

There was a man that did pottery demonstrations. Brax snuck over and took this picture. The guy was pretty interesting and taught the kids that they should vacuum for their parents. We had a hard time following what the guy was talking about all the time but he did make some nice pottery bowls and such.

Braxton thought he would be cute and take a picture of his mom. This was at lunch and he surprised me. I told him I was the one that was supposed to be taking pictures and he just chuckled!

While we were at one of the demonstrations my friend Rhonda was telling me about some cream to put on Braxton's sore leg. She said her dad used it and swore that it would help him. She said she didn't know where to find it but as we were walking through the little store she found it. I bought it and put it on his leg and look how much better it looks!

I am so glad that I was able to go on this field trip with Braxton. It seems like I learn something new about my son every time I get some time like this with him. He is such a good boy and always puts others feelings before his. He has such a big heart and I am so thankful to call him my son! Thanks Tevita for telling the school I would go, and thanks Braxton for being such a good kid and wanting me there. The pears were great, the lessons were great, the friendships are great, and the healing cream is great! I love you Brax!
