Mehi shopping

Today we dropped the older girls off with Grandpa Rod. Mehi didn't get to go so Tevita took her shopping for a minute. I texted her and told her to have fun and she sent me this picture back saying "I will Mommy!" Love you Mehi!

This is my Lia

This picture shows exactly who our little Lia is. She is such a funny girl! She always tries to find the funny in everything. She is always laughing. Sometimes it drives us crazy! Tevita says, "Sometimes I think she is faking because she laughs so much!" In fact, I think that is what he said that made her laugh so hard in this picture. I wish I had a better quality one but my phone was the closest thing to me. Anyways, thank you Lia for always laughing. Your laugh is contagious and makes everybody around you be happy. We love you so much!

Sipola and Tevon

Yesterday Sipola told me that she loves to put Tevon to sleep. She said it is her favorite thing. I asked her why and she said, "Mommy, I love when he will sit on my lap and let me love him. I love to put him to sleep so I can sit and hold him!" She is such a great little helper and we love her so much!

Tevon is a big boy now!

Tevon is such a big boy now! It is hard to believe that he is old enough to sit in a high chair when we go to restaurants. He loves talking on the phone and he loves to stick his spoon in his mouth. His recent love is to spit in our faces while feedig him. Thanks a lot Aunt Nancy for showing him how to spit! If you were closer you would be feeding him every meal!!

Mehi in hospital

Mehi was in the ER a couple of weeks ago. She had horrible strep throat with a really high fever. I had to take a few pictures of her. She was so brave. She got upset because she wanted the shot in her arm, not her bum. She was really brave and did really well. I am so thankful that she was able to get a shot and start feeling better so quick. We love you Mehi!

Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day. I hope that my dad has a great day. Today I have been reflecting on my dad. We don't always see eye to eye. We sometimes argue. But no matter what, he is always there for me. We have been through so much and he has taught me so much. When Tevita first became a part of our family he told me, "Jodi, you and your dad have a specialness between you. Don't ever loose that." I think that "specialness" is there because me and dad are so much alike. In my mind, I am dad's favorite. Ha Ha. Justin and Jaquel, don't be mad...I know it's not true, but in my mind it is!:) I know that we are all his favorites but there is just something about being the middle child that makes me special! My dad is such a strong man. I think of him everyday. Mom used to always tell me that she worried about dad being alone. He always had Grandma and Mom taking care of him. Now Grandma and Mom are gone and dad is taking care of all of us! I am so proud of him. I know that life is hard for him. I know that he misses mom so much but he still hangs in there. I know that he struggles on a daily basis worrying about all of us. But Dad, we are all ok. You are always there for all of us. You are there to give us all advice. You are there to be with the kids. You spoil all our kids and then send them home to us. I just want you to know that we really love you and appreciate all you do for us. Keep being strong and have a great day!
Thank you to Tevita also. He is such a great dad to our kids. He works so hard so that we can all have what we need. He is always teaching us something. He is such a strong person, both physically and spiritually. I am so thankful for him. I don't know where I would be without him. He is my best friend. He is such a great dad and the kids look up to him so much. Thank you for all you do Tevita. We wouldn't be where we are today without you. Happy Father's Day and we love you!!
And to all the rest of the men in our lives...Happy Father's Day! We love you all and hop you have a great day!
P.S. Gotta love the pictures! I really need to get some more updated on my computer but for now these will have to do!

Some of Grandma Lita

These were taken when we thought Grandma was going back early. Luckily she is still with us!

Some time so I'll post

Well, I am here waiting for Tevita to come home from work. Three out of five kids are attempting to sleep out on the tramp with Mehi sitting next to me and Tevon in bed. I am trying to stay awake in case those older ones need me. We'll see if they actually stay out past the time Tevita comes home. Anyways, I was thinking that there are quite a few pictures that I haven't posted so I will try to post some now. I really wish my blog thing would let me see what pictures I am posting. Anyways I think there is one with Brax and the blind boy that he was so impressed with. There should be one with Tevon eating a banana. That was his first time eating one. I think the others are just hanging out at State wrestling. Braxton took second and we were so proud of him!

Little Late

Here are just a few pictures from Lia's baptism. They are a little late but that's better than never. Thanks for getting them for us Stacy.

Spare Time

Tonight Brax had a game at 5:00 and one at 8:30. So after the first game we had to hurry and go shooting. Dad has a new gun that he wanted me to try out and this is how we ended up. The girls are doing really well with their shooting skills. Sipola still struggles a bit because she can't quite figure out how to look through the scope. I struggled a bit because I can't quite get the hang of the heavy pistol. But we had fun and are looking forward to more shooting. And Braxton's team won their second game so now we have to go tomorrow night so they can play for Championship. Good luck Brax! We love you all!

Mehi and Tevon

We told Mehi that she needed to stop going in and out of the door, that she needed to either choose the outside or the inside. So, we caught her going in and out the window instead! What a kid! We also put Tevon in his swing for the first time yesterday. He really enjoyed it and are glad that he gets to enjoy it now.

About Me

My photo
Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
