My Honey

Today is Sunday and my honey is working a double. I am missing him so I am blogging about him! He will probably hate it but since he loves me he will deal with it! He has been such a good sport and so willing to work doubles so that he can go watch the kids on the weekends. This year has turned out to be quite busy for us. I'm not sure what we were thinking when we decided to let the kids do multiple things. It was so easy to say yes but I don't think either one of us thought about how much time it was going to be. Tevita and I neither one like to have our kids go to their stuff without at least one of us there. We have always been firm believers that we will be to all the kids events to support them and not send them with somebody else. This is the first year that it has been kind of hard to do that, just because they are involved in so much. Braxton tried out and made the high school baseball team. It sounded great until we saw the schedule! Oh my goodness, so many games. We are talking like 3-5 games each week. And traveling to far away places! Then Lia's basketball just got over but there were a few days that she was at basketball, volleyball, softball, and dance all in the same day! Sooo very crazy! So, Tevita has worked very hard to try to help me get the schedules all figured out. He has gone in to work very early, or had to do doubles, or whatever it takes so that we can make sure our kids are where they need to be at the right times. I am so thankful for this man in my life! He is so selfless and is always willing to do whatever is needed of him. His health isn't all the best, but we are working on getting him better. He is a fighter, that is for sure! He works so hard to make sure we are all taken care of. He loves him family unconditionally! I love listening to him as he tells us stories of the island, his brothers, his sister(who he adores), and most of all when he talks about his parents. He loves every single one of them and would do anything for them! He is so proud of his brother, who is graduating med school, and is so excited to go see him graduate! You will often find my honey in a deep conversation with Brax and Tevon, telling them how to treat their sisters and mom and talking about the gospel. He is the best example to all of us and we sure do love him! Thank you Vita for everything you do for us!

Lia's first softball game

Well, Lia had her first softball game of the season. She did great! She loves softball and this year she has some new coaches that I think are going to be great for her! She played against Justin's team from Gunnison/Manti so she was against Madisyn and Whitlee. They all had a great time. Sipola loves going to watch her sister, as you can see in the pics:)

St. George Dance Competition

This past weekend Lia had a dance competition in St. George. At first it was just going to be Lia and I going. At the last minute Tevita decided that he and the other kids wanted to come also. So we packed up everybody and went. The first night was rough. I had gotten a "deal" on the motel and it was horrible! It was a very humbling experience for all. Braxton, Tevon, and Mehi all slept on the hard wood floors and the rest of us tried to sleep on the beds. Luckily it was a newly remodeled room so the floors were clean and even more lucky we had taken a lot of blankets so it wasn't that hard. Tevita had me find a different hotel for Saturday night and let me tell you, we couldn't get out of the motel fast enough! I even called the new hotel and asked if we could check in early and we were so lucky that they let us! It was a beautiful room with a beautiful patio that led to the pool. It was Heaven compared to where we had been! Tevita kept everybody except Lia and I and they enjoyed the time swimming and hot tubbing. Lia and I went to her competition where she danced beautifully! Her team took second and third place. They had some pretty tough competition. We enjoyed doing some sight seeing and spending quality time as a family. I told the kids that had to be there Easter weekend since Tevita has to work all of Easter weekend.

Girls Dance

Lia and Sipola recently competed in a dance competition. Sipola took two first place and one second place in her solo. Her team also took two first place and overall team. Lia's team took first and overall team! It was so fun watching these two compete. It brought back so many memories. I'm happy for them and their accomplishments. Love you girls!

About Me

My photo
Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
