24th of July Luau

On the 24th of July Tevita and I were asked to do a luau in Koosharem. It was a hectic day because we also had to cook for the football/baseball fundraiser at the park in Monroe. So Feleti and the kids from Alaska came to help us. It was such a fun time! All the kids loved it and everything turned out well. They told us to plan on feeding about 200 people and we ended up feeding about 475. We cooked two pigs and they were both gone. The Tongans didn't even get one piece of the pigs! We didn't have any leftovers on any of the food. It was a good luau. The girls danced and were great as usual. They are so graceful and love dancing.

3 on 3

On the 24th of July Monroe always has a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Lia has had the same team for 4 years now. She plays with Kenzie, Brookell, and Saige. The first year they took 2nd place, then the next two years they took Championship, and this year they took 2nd place again. They went undefeated all off pool play and undefeated in bracket play. The only game they lost was the Championship team and they lost by 1 point against a freshman high school team from Richfield. She was in the 7-9th age division and was able to compete aggressively with all the older teams. Next year I'm sure they will take the Championship back!

About Me

My photo
Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
