Mothers Day

This year I kind of got spoiled:) The kids asked me what I wanted and I told them all I wanted was for them to get along and not argue. Braxton said, "so if you could have anything in this world you wouldn't get a new house or a car, you would just want us to night argue?" I told him yep, that's all I wanted. So, Tevita and I and the girls went for a little ride on Saturday while Braxton went hunting with Grandpa and Uncle Justin. Tevita started celebrating a day early and wouldn't let the girls tattle tale to me, he made them tell him. He told them that if they had any problems or concerns they had to go to him and give me a day off. It was hard for them (and me) but he made them do it. By the end of the night instead of hearing Mommy Mommy all we heard was Daddy Daddy. Tevita had the kids pick out a gift for me so Sipola and Mehi each got me a shirt and Tevita and Lia picked out some cute flip flops. Then on Sunday I received a flower and card from Lia, a card from Sipola, and a card and box of flowers to plant from Braxton. I got a huge kiss and a Happy Mothers Day from Mehi at about 5:00am. They all wanted to fix me breakfast in bed but I wasn't feeling well so I let that slide. Then Tevita wanted us to go to Richfield to visit the cemetary. We went and were able to spend some time there. It made me cry. I really miss my mom. Then I was supposed to work that night but Tevita told me that he wanted me to stay home and rest and he would take my place at work. So the rest of the night the kids and I hung out. It was such a good weekend. Thank you family for making it such a special time for me. Thank you Tevita for all you do for us. Thank you Makalita for raising such a good man. We hope you had a great mothers day. We love you so much and are so thankful to be a part of your family. I hope all you moms out there had a great day!

I'm sure Mother's Day was an emotional day for you. It sure sounds like your husband and kids made it special, though. I hope everything continues to go okay with this new addition!

About Me

Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
