That was the day our beautiful little girl was born. Yes, it was a very tragic day for the United States. Yes, we were torn about our little one being born on this day. Yes, we watched the news the whole time I was in labor. And yes, our little miracle baby was born on that day. She asked me, "mom, why is 9/11 so special?" I told her because it was her birthday. She said, "No,mom, tell me the story about the day I was born." So, I told her all about it. She said she was so sad for all those people that lost their lives but she was so glad that she was born! So was I!!! She also said her prayer before going to school and in her prayer she asked Heavenly Father "to please tell Spencer Happy Birthday for me." What a little angel this girl is. I know that she misses her brother everyday of her life. She asks questions about him a lot. Sometimes she won't let anybody sit by her. We will ask her why and she says because Spencer is sitting there. I wonder how much of that is really true!! It is so hard to believe that she is 8 years old. I can't believe how fast time goes by. Lia is such an inspiration to me and those who know her. She is a friend to everybody she meets. She is such a big helper, I can't imagine life without her. Happy Birthday Lia! We love you so much!!
