Labor Cake

My friends sent me a recipe for a labor cake. They say that if you are supposed to go into labor in the next 48 hours then eat this cake and you will go into labor. Well, I DO NOT want to go into labor yet but this cake looked and sounded so stinkin' good. I have talked with them and they reassured me that it is safe to eat if you're not close to going into labor. So today I made the cake. It looks so good! I haven't eaten any yet because like I said, I do not want to go into labor yet so I am still kind of skeptical. Anyways, Mehi and I took some to Tevita while he is working. He asked me what kind it is and I told him it was the labor cake. Mehi whispered to me and said, "mommy, what is labor?" I told her that if daddy ate the cake that he would have to work really hard because labor meant working really hard. So on the drive home Mehi said to me, "Mommy, I think I'll just have a bite of cake instead of having a whole piece." I asked her why and she said, "because I don't want to work really hard. I just want to work a little so I'll just take a bite!" What a kid! We ended up coming home and she ate a few bites of ice cream and said she didn't feel like eating the labor cake anymore! What a little stinker!!!

About Me

My photo
Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
