Only one at home

Monday was Sipola's first day of kindergarten. She was so excited! She had to shower really early in the morning and then she sat around and waited for school to start. I started crying when Tevita was taking her pictures(which I can't get them to download)and Mehi said, "it will be ok mom". Then it was time for us to leave. Pola was all smiles while Mehi was crying and screaming at the top of her lungs, "Bring Pola back!!" It was so sad. We got to school a little early so I waited with her. I took her to the lunchroom to get ready for lunch. When it was time for her to get her food, she sat down and was all smiles. I asked her if I should stay until somebody else got there and she said, "Mom, I'll be ok. You leave now and I'll see you after school." Shelly(the cook)saw my teary eyes and told me, "It's ok Jodi, we'll take care of her." So, I left and went to work. Right when I got to the time clock room there was Phyllis(an older lady at work)and I just started crying and told her the story. It was good to talk to her about it because she has been through it and knew what I was talking about. She said that this past weekend all her kids had come home and her and her husband felt a sigh of relief when they all left. This gave me hope that it will get easier as I get older, but it sure was tough letting her go! Halamehi and I are going to have to get creative on how to spend our time without all the other kids! It is so hard to believe how fast they grow up!

I know how I felt having to leave Mark at daycare. I bawled my eyes out for weeks on the way to work worried sick about my boy. I hope it gets better for you in the days to come. What a cute girl she is going to school!

I know how you feel, I took Ofein ato school the other day (usually Pila took her)she had to go to the bathroom, I was just about to take her and her techer said she would help her, when I left her techer I was very sad, I had the feeling that she didn't need me anymore. It was horrible!! But then she came home and told me everything was fine and she had a wonderful day at school, I hate it that our kids are growing up!!

About Me

Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
