What a day (and still wishing Pila was done w/school)

So, our day started out at 6am getting ready to go to the dentist again! I got there at 7:50am and the journey began. The doctor started and then gave a big sigh and said, "this is worse than I thought". Surprise Surprise...with all the trouble I have had with this tooth, why should this come as a shock? He gave me a shot and I have never felt anything like that before. I guess he hit a nerve while giving the shot. My whole face immediately went numb (after the initial pain). Then he said that I only had two canals because they had fused together. He said they were suppposed to look like a triangle and mine looked like a "C". At 9:15 he said, "Your appointment is supposed to end now but we aren't even close to being done." Then he told me that very few root canals take three appointments. I told him, "don't take offense to this, but I don't like having all these appointments." He finished (or so I thought) and then said, "go up front to make your appointment to finish". So, I am not done with my root canal yet! My next appointment is next Wednesday. I don't know how much more of this I can take! So, I don't do very well with the medication from the shot so I have been in pain and sleepy all day. I was upstairs making dinner and Halamehi came upstairs. She looked HORRIBLE!!! Sipola had cut Mehi's hair off and it looks so bad! Then Sipola came upstairs and she had also cut her own hair! Mehi's hair used to go to her bum, and now some parts are cut above her ears! Pola just cut one side of her hair. I called Tevita crying and he said, "it's ok, just fix it tomorrow." I appreciated him being so calm and making me feel better about the situation. I just don't know why are kids are so mischevious whenever Tevita is out of town??? I called the only lady in town that cuts hair and she wasn't there so hopefully I can get them both fixed tomorrow. Tevita will be home for a few minutes tomorrow which I am so thankful for. I just need a hug from him and I think I'll make it for the next trip. He is so excited to go to Texas so I am excited for him. Wish us luck!

Oh you poor thing! What a crappy couple of weeks! I am so sorry about the hair cutting, too.. it is one of my worst fears!! It is good they are both so beautiful, they can probably carrie off any kind of haircut with grace :) Hang in there!! Oh... and we won't be in town on the 24th, we will be there the next weekend for a reunion instead. So sorry we won't get to see you!! Maybe we'll get lucky and bump into each other anyway! -d

It seems like every girl has to experience some sort of hair cutting experience. I am waiting for our turn. The wonderful things is kids can pull off any hair do because they are all so cute. Shirlyn

Good thing it's just hair and that it will grow back! Sorry you've had such a rough time lately. I agree with you that tooth pain is probably the worst pain. I hope it's feeling better by now. I'll look for you while I'm there.

About Me

Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
