Braxton

Just a little bit about our oldest son. He has the heart of gold. He is always helping other people. He makes sure his siblings are taken care of. On Monday he came home from wrestling practice and told me that he was named the wrestling team captain. We are so proud of him. Last week he came home from school and told me that he needed some warmer gloves and that he needed to wear his good hunting boots to school. I asked him why and he said that he needed to help Mr. Stapley getting all the snow off the ground. One of his friends wanted to ask for money but Brax said No. He was doing it to help and wouldn't accept any money. One day we were driving down the road and our neighbor lady was out shoveling her snow. Braxton was in shorts and a tshirt and no coat. He didn't care. He made me stop, he got out, and he told me to come back in 15 minutes so he could shovel her snow for her. She offered him some money and he said, "absolutely not!" He loves helping other people. We were talking about the missionaries the other day. He asked me why they don't come to our house anymore. I told him that they don't come up here very much and the other wards get to feed them. He said, "mom, we need to go take them to lunch or something like that." I asked him why and he said, "one day I'm going to be a missionary and I hope that somebody will take me to lunch!" Braxton likes to go in and get my drink for me. I usually give him extra money and he never gives me my change back. I asked him what he is doing with all the change he keeps. He told me, "I have a missionary fund, a college fund, and a fund to buy my sisters stuff." Now that Grandma Lita is here he has also started a "Grandma Lita DI fund". He knows that she loves going to the DI so he got a jar and has put a ton of change in it for her. I could go on and on about our oldest son. He is such a good kid and we are so lucky to have him. I know that I sound like a proud mom that is bragging about her son. But I want him to look back through this blog and know that we are watching him. We are watching him grow. We are watching him become a great young man. We are watching him put others before himself and we are watching him be a great example to all those around him. I know this kid is gonna do so much with his life. He has some pretty great goals and works everyday to get closer to achieving them. We love you so much son and are so proud of you! Thank you for all you do for everybody around you. We love you!

What a sweet boy. Hopefully the snow storms stop soon for you guys. I bet he has shoveled quite a few walkways this year.

Any tips on how to raise my son would be much appreciated - Braxton is so kindhearted. I can only hope my guy ends up that sweet. You surely have a fine young man you can be very proud of!

About Me

My photo
Tevita and I met 13 years ago in Provo Utah. What a cutie he was! In June we will have been married for 12 years. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long but yep, here we are coming up on 12. We have 5 beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We also have 3 angel baby boys that we know we will be with after this life. We have so many different personalities in this house but there is one thing for sure...we love each other and are grateful for this family! What a great life!
